Sukakarya

Sukakarya is a coastal town in Aceh’s Sabang area, Indonesia. While the immediate locality isn’t a major diving hotspot, the surrounding region offers access to the Andaman Sea and nearby dive centers within a reasonable boat ride. Given the city’s modest elevation and its maritime setting, divers visiting Sukakarya typically base themselves for day trips or explore nearby sites along the coast. Since there are currently no listed dive sites in town, most diving activity would be organized through nearby centers that operate out of Sabang and surrounding jetties. The area features warm tropical waters with typical Indo-Pacific marine life and reef structures within reach of travel from the city.
