Nagura Coral Garden

Nagura Coral Garden is a gentle, shallow reef dive off Ishigaki in the Yaeyama Islands. The site features a mosaic of hard corals, sea fans, and small reef fishes typical of subtropical to tropical peer reefs. Entry is straightforward from the rocky shoreline, with a maximum depth that commonly stays within a few meters to the low teens, making it suitable for beginners and snorkelers transitioning to scuba. Expect clear water, mild currents on occasions, and plenty of macro life around the coral heads. The nearby Ishigaki coastline and surrounding reefs attract a calm, sheltered dive environment with good visibility in calm conditions.
