Crystal Beach

Crystal Beach is a coastal reef site off Ishigaki, known for its clear tropical waters and gentle slopes from about 5 to 18 meters. The site features a sandy-mud bottom with patches of coral and rocky outcrops that host typical tropical reef life. Expect visibility commonly ranging from good to excellent, with a relaxed drift or simple swim-around depending on currents. Common species in the area include wrasses, parrotfish, damselfish, and occasional morays, along with annual visitors like sea turtles. Access is straightforward from the beach with a shallow entry, making it suitable for beginners and for relaxed reef exploration.
