While the city itself is primarily a beach town and tourist destination, we can base dives on nearby sites within a short boat ride, with options for beginners and experienced divers. Expect temperate water, good visibility, and common sightings like colorful reef fish, seals nearby historic piers, and seasonal migrations. For more specialized dives, nearby Catalina Island and other SoCal sites offer additional options, though they require planned trips from the mainland.
