South Korea

North Chungcheong

North Chungcheong is an inland administrative region of South Korea, with limited access to coastal diving. The province itself does not offer seawater dive sites; nearby coastal regions along the Yellow Sea and broader west coast offer the main diving opportunities. In practice, divers visiting the region usually travel to the coast for dive days or join organized trips from nearby cities, such as Cheongju-si, to reach marine centers and dive sites along the Yellow Sea. Inland waters, if any, are primarily for training or freshwater exploration outside the core diving map. The regional diving character is therefore defined by travel access to coastal dive destinations rather than by on-site diving within the province.
