Armação De Pêra

Armação de Pêra is a coastal town in the Algarve region of southern Portugal. It is known as a popular beach destination with a number of dive centers along the coast and a gateway for day trips to nearby offshore reefs, walls, and island sites along the southern Portugal coastline. While the town itself is built around tourism and beaches, the surrounding Algarve coast offers accessible diving with beginner to intermediate sites. The area benefits from relatively warm Atlantic waters, generally good visibility in good conditions, and a variety of marine life including small reef fish and pelagics at some sites. For divers staying here, most underwater activity comes from day boats and shore entries to nearby reefs and wrecks along the coast, rather than significant on-site dive infrastructure.
