Phú Quốc is a tropical island district in southern Vietnam, surrounded by the Gulf of Thailand. The region offers warm, clear tropical waters with coral reefs and shallow bays, attracting both beginners and more experienced divers near the island's shore. Diving activity is centered around Phú Quốc town and the outer reefs, with sites featuring healthy hard corals, reef fish, and occasional larger pelagic encounters. Access is mainly by boat from Duong Dong, with conditions influenced by monsoon seasons and calm periods.
