Matevulu

Matevulu is a coastal village area in Sanma Province, Vanuatu. While not a major city, it serves as a gateway for divers visiting the region, with access to nearby reefs and green-blue lagoons along the Coral Sea. The Pacific-facing environment supports warm tropical conditions and generally clear, calm waters suitable for drift and shore dives when conditions permit. Local dive centers offer courses and guided dives to surrounding sites, including small reef patches, walls, and macro targets. Expect modest vis, abundant reef fishes, and a relaxed, small-community diving scene typical of Vanuatu’s outer islands.
