Williston is a small city in northern Florida near the Gulf Coast. It isn’t a primary diving hub, and diving activity in town is limited. Nearby freshwater options include the nearby river system and local ponds, while saltwater access is a drive away toward the Gulf of Mexico, where coastal dive centers and reefs can be found. Given the modest number of local dive centers and sites, visitors typically use Williston as a base for regional diving trips or training, rather than as a destination for in-city diving.
