Upper Grand Lagoon

Upper Grand Lagoon sits on the central Florida coast near the Gulf of Mexico. While not a major international dive hub, the area provides access to coastal reefs, wrecks, and artificial reefs via nearby dive centers and charter boats along the Emerald Coast and central Gulf coast. The site is best used as a gateway for day trips to nearby dive sites, shore dives, and freshwater training opportunities within reasonable reach. Expect warm maritime conditions, typically tropical to subtropical water, with clear visibility at times and common Gulf marine life such as small reef fish, snappers, and occasional larger pelagics depending on the site and season.
