Hertfordshire is a landlocked county in southern England and not a diving destination. The region is known for its rolling countryside and historic towns, with no local sea access. Freshwater diving is not a prominent activity here; the nearby Brooklands Lake could offer very limited training or recreational dives only if local centers operate there, but there are no defined dive sites or centers within Hertfordshire itself. Most divers using Hertfordshire act as a gateway to coastal dive destinations along the Thames Estuary, English Channel, or more distant parts of the U.K. coastline.
