Erdemli

Erdemli is a coastal city in southern Turkey along the Mediterranean. It acts as a gateway to nearby dive spots along the eastern Mediterranean coast, with a mix of small local dive centers and access to wrecks and reefs within day-trip reach. The area offers clear, warm water in summer and various seabed features typical of the Mediterranean, including rocky reefs and possibly occasional pelagic activity near the coast. While the city itself is more of a general travel hub than a dedicated diving destination, divers often use Erdemli as a base to explore nearby dive sites along the Silifke region and further east toward Mersin and Anamur, with sea-life that includes typical Mediterranean species.
