Yugang in Taiwan sits inland within Lvdao Township and is not a coastal diving destination. While the nearby coast along the South China Sea offers some diving opportunities, Yugang itself is better known as a regional gateway or access point for day trips to nearby dive sites. Expect limited direct diving in town, with more value as a base for transport, lodging, and logistics for divers visiting the south coast. For freshwater diving or nearby quarries, options are scarce in the immediate area, so divers typically plan trips to coastal sites or other established dive hubs on Taiwan’s east and south coasts.
