Serra De Tramuntana

The Serra de Tramuntana in the Balearic Islands is a coastal mountain range shaping the region’s diving character. In Mallorca, diving sites are mainly coastal and reefy, with a mix of shallow shore dives and boat trips to deeper slopes along cliffs and walls. Access is convenient from Palma and other coastal towns, with a couple of dive centers servicing Mallorca’s dive sites. Because the region is administratively focused on the Balearics, most diving activity centers on the island of Mallorca rather than inland areas. The area’s scenery and relatively sheltered waters suit recreational divers, with opportunities for drift dives along the coast depending on conditions.
