Los Gigantes

Los Gigantes sits on Tenerife’s west coast and is primarily known as a dramatic cliff scenery and a gateway to coastal activities. While the town itself is not a major dive hub, the surrounding Canary Islands offer notable diving with reefs, caves, and marine life. Local centers concentrate on introductory courses and shore-based diving access from the coast, with shore dives along lava formations and nearby seabed habitats. For divers, it’s best used as a base to reach nearby dive sites or to arrange beginner-friendly sessions, with reliable Atlantic conditions and pleasant sea visibility most days unless swells or strong winds occur.
