Cádiz

Cádiz is the southern coastal province of Andalucía facing the Atlantic, with limited inland diving options and a coastal context shaped by the Strait of Gibraltar. The region’s dive activity centers on its coast and harbor environments, where conditions can be influenced by exchange with the strait. Expect relatively cool, variable visibility and marine life typical of Atlantic-influenced waters, including common coastal fishes and invertebrates. In Cádiz, access is oriented toward local dive centers and shore/boat trips from key towns along the coast, rather than a large number of widely known dive sites. Inland, the Laguna de la Caldera offers freshwater diving opportunities, but true saltwater diving is concentrated along the coast and near the Strait of Gibraltar area.
