Kabardino Balkaria

Kabardino-Balkaria is a landlocked region in the North Caucasus, Russia. It has no saltwater diving and its diving relevance centers on freshwater sport diving in lakes and rivers, and training for mountainous terrain under challenging conditions. The region’s limited diving footprint means access is mostly for local or adventurer divers, with centers typically focused on basic skill development and drysuit scenarios. Potable water activities are common in alpine waters, but notable dive sites are scarce and temperate conditions vary with season.
