Santa María Del Mar

Santa María del Mar is a coastal city in the Lima region of Peru, situated on the Pacific coast. While the area around the city itself isn’t a major dive hub, the Lima coast provides access to a variety of nearby dive sites with calm conditions suitable for local day trips from the capital region. Dive centers are concentrated along the broader coastline closer to Lima, offering introductory dives, course options, and equipment rental. In the immediate area, freshwater options are not a feature, and the city’s diving relevance comes from access to nearby offshore reefs and wrecks along the central Peruvian coast rather than within the city itself.
