Blenheim is a city in the Marlborough region of New Zealand. It is not a coastal dive hub and has no local saltwater diving access. The surrounding area is known for wine country and the nearby Marlborough Sounds offer marine access, but within the city itself diving options are limited. If you’re visiting for wine or outdoor activities, you can base your trip in Blenheim and plan day trips to nearby coastal or freshwater dive sites in the wider region, such as the Sounds or inland quarry diving further afield. Overall, Blenheim is more of a landlocked gateway to New Zealand’s diverse diving regions than a primary diving destination.
