Nearby dive activity is limited to passes toward the adjacent coastal areas along the Malacca Strait and the wider Peninsular Malaysia coast, where a handful of dive centers operate within a reasonable travel radius. For divers, the city functions mainly as a convenient urban base for visitors to Kuala Lumpur and the surrounding state, with access to freshwater training facilities if needed, but travel to coastal dive destinations is required for actual diving.
