Johor Bahru

Johor Bahru is a city in southern Malaysia near the Singapore border. It sits near coastal waters but has limited local diving activity within the city itself; access to dive sites typically involves day trips to nearby coastal areas along the Singapore Strait and the South China Sea. There are very few, if any, local dive centers with routine operations in the city, so divers usually plan through nearby coastal towns or Singapore for offshore reefs and wrecks. If you’re visiting for other reasons, you can find general water activities nearby, and some regional freshwater options exist further inland for training or recce dives.
