Marokindro

Marokindro is a coastal area in the Diana Region of Madagascar, facing the Mozambique Channel in the Indian Ocean. With a small local diving community, it serves as a gateway point for nearby reef and wall dives along the northeast coast. There is at least one dive center nearby and several accessible sites suitable for boat trips and introductory to intermediate dives. Conditions typically feature warm tropical water, modest to good visibility, and abundant reef fish and coral life typical of Madagascar’s offshoots. As a relatively low-profile destination, divers often use Marokindro as a base for exploring larger nearby sites in the Diana region rather than as a stand-alone mega-dive hub.
