Lacona

Lacona is a small coastal locality in the Tyrrhenian Sea side of Tuscany, Italy. It isn’t a major diving hub, and there are no listed dive sites or centers within the immediate area. The region around Livorno offers more diving options, including boat dives to the Tyrrhenian reefs and wrecks further along the coast, but Lacona itself is better known for its landscape and access on land. If you are visiting for diving, use nearby towns on the coast as a base to reach local dive centers and sites. Expect typical Tuscan coastal conditions: warm summers, mild winters, and Mediterranean seas with variable visibility depending on weather. For freshwater options, the immediate area doesn’t provide notable dive sites, so divers usually venture to coastal sites or return to larger centers in the region.
