Manduria is a town in Apulia, Italy, not on the open coast. It sits inland from the Ionian coast and is primarily known for its local culture and nearby coastal access. There isn’t a notable diving scene within the city itself; however, the region offers access to the Ionian Sea’s coastal dive sites at short drive times, and a single local dive center serves basic courses and gear rental in the broader area. For divers, Manduria can work as a gateway base to day trips toward nearby reefs and wreck sites along the Ionian coast rather than as a primary dive destination.
