Paleochora

Paleochora is a small coastal town on the southwest coast of Crete. While the surrounding region offers picturesque beaches and coastal scenery, the town itself has limited diving infrastructure. The nearby Mediterranean coast provides access to shore dives and potential boat trips to dive sites along Crete’s eastern basin, but there isn’t a dense concentration of dive centers within Paleochora. For divers, the area is best used as a gateway to broader Crete dive sites and local training opportunities elsewhere on the island.
