Göhren

Göhren is a coastal town on Germany’s Baltic Sea coast. It’s a small gateway for local shore diving and access to the island-rich coast in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. The area offers straightforward access to Baltic Sea dives, with typical temperate waters, mild visibility, and rocky-bottom and sandy habitats. There are few dedicated dive centers in the immediate town, so divers often base locally or join organized trips from nearby larger ports; as a result, the diving scene is modest and best suited for day trips and local exploration rather than a major international dive hub.
