Constance is a lake city on Lake Constance (Bodensee) in southern Germany, near the border with Switzerland. It’s not a coastal diving destination, but the region offers freshwater diving options in nearby lakes and quarries, and several international dive clubs use the area as a training base. Within the city itself there is limited diving activity; divers typically travel to nearby freshwater sites around the lake or to other parts of Baden-Württemberg for organized dives. Expect clear freshwater with typical carp and local species, especially at dive sites used for training and practice.
