Dammarie Les Lys

Dammarie-les-Lys is a town in the Île-de-France region, located inland about an hour from the coast. It has no local diving scenes, and the surrounding area is best known for its forests and historical sites. Freshwater options exist nearby in the Scarpe River catchment further afield, but there are no true coastal or inland dive sites within the city itself. For divers, the area serves as a quiet base with good road access to larger coastal diving hubs on the French Atlantic and English Channel shores, or to training facilities in urban settings.
