Collioure

Collioure is a coastal town in southern France that serves as a gateway for Mediterranean diving along the Côte Vermeille. It has a number of nearby dive centers and boats that run trips to local Mediterranean reefs and rocky sites, with shore dives and day trips commonly offered. The area features clear, warm water in summer and temperate conditions in winter, with typical Mediterranean marine life such as groupers, sea bream, and small reef fish. Local diving activity is active but Collioure itself is more of a base than a famous destination, with most diving centered on access to nearby reefs, wrecks, and drop-offs along the coast.
