Haute Saône

Haute-Saône is an inland administrative region in eastern France, with a landscape defined by rivers, forests and small towns. The region is not known for saltwater diving; most diving activity is limited to freshwater environments such as lakes and rivers, or adjacent regions with coastal access. Within Haute-Saône itself, diving opportunities are largely seasonal, centered on training and local freshwater sites near larger towns like Luxeuil-les-Bains and Gray. For divers, the region is better approached for logistics, nature exploration and as a starting point to access nearby regions with more established diving options, rather than as a primary diving destination.
