Dededo Municipality

Dededo is a dense urban municipality on Guam, not a traditional coastal dive hub. Access to diving is typically via nearby coastal areas around Hagåtña and Tumon Bay where dive centers offer short trips to nearby reefs, wrecks, and walls. The island’s reef systems and marine life are accessible from boat and shore dives operating out of nearby hubs. For freshwater options, there are limited local sites; most divers visit from Guam for open-water dives around the surrounding Philippine Sea and the North Pacific coast. Overall, the area functions as a gateway to Guam’s popular dive sites rather than a primary diving destination itself.
