Tambon Ko Pha Ngan

Tambon Ko Pha-ngan is a coastal sub-district on Koh Phangan in the Gulf of Thailand. It is a well-known tourist area famous for its beaches and vibrant nightlife, rather than a primary diving hub. Local diving activity is limited; there are a few dive centers on nearby beaches offering entry-level courses and day trips to nearby reef sites around Koh Phangan and neighboring islands. The water is typically warm with tropical marine life in accessible sites, but there are no major, well-documented dive sites within the sub-district itself. Divers visiting Ko Pha-ngan usually base themselves for short trips or stay elsewhere on the island for snorkeling and diving opportunities.
