Bang Sare

Bang Sare is a coastal town in eastern Thailand, located on the Gulf of Thailand near Sattahip. It’s more of a gateway access point for divers heading to nearby dive sites along the Pattaya–Rayong corridor than a major diving hub itself. The area offers freshwater-free coastal access to the Gulf and nearby dive centers in the Sattahip/Pattaya region. With a modest number of local dive centers and a range of shore entries and boat trips in the wider gulf, divers typically use Bang Sare as a convenient base for day trips or as a stopover while exploring broader dive options along the eastern Gulf coast. Expect warm tropical conditions, generally calm seas in favorable seasons, and typical Indo-Pacific marine life at nearby sites, though most substantial diving will be found a short drive away.
