Yerseke

Yerseke is a small town in the southwestern Netherlands, located near the North Sea in Zeeland. It’s not a primary diving hub, but the area offers a handful of coastal access points and nearby freshwater options. The town sits close to Veerse Meer, a large lake used for recreational activities, including occasional diving by local clubs and divers seeking freshwater shallow sites. With around forty dive sites in the broader region, most diving activity is found along the coast and in nearby waterways rather than in the town itself. Expect temperate water, modest visibility, and typical North Sea marine life in coastal spots, with more sheltered freshwater options at the lake for training or relaxed dives when conditions on the coast are unfavourable.
