Katwijk NB is a coastal town in the Netherlands and a gateway to the North Sea for local divers. While the city itself sits along the coast, most diving activity is organized through nearby dive centers along the coast and in the wider Randstad region. The area offers access to shallow shelf dives, beaches, and pier dives typical of the Dutch coast, with relatively calm conditions at times and water temperatures that require suitable exposure protection. Nearby freshwater options exist in the river Aa, but the primary diving draw remains saltwater coastal sites within a short drive of Katwijk.
