Borsele

Borsele is an administrative region in the Zeeland province of the Netherlands. It is a landlocked inland area with access to Veerse Meer, a large brackish freshwater lake that provides limited recreational diving opportunities nearby, primarily for local shore diving and training. The region’s diving relevance is limited; most diving activity is concentrated around the broader Zeeland/Hurricane coast, but direct offshore dives are not within Borsele itself. Nearby coastal centers in Zeeland may offer entry points to sea diving in the North Sea, with typical Dutch conditions and modest visibility. For divers, plan visits around inland water activities plus day trips to the coastal dive centers.
