Slagbaai

Slagbaai is a small coastal area on Bonaire, a Caribbean island in the Netherlands. While Bonaire is renowned for shore diving, Slagbaai itself is more of a protected landscape area. The nearby coastline provides access to Bonaire’s famous clear Caribbean waters; however, diving activity within Slagbaai town limits is limited. For practical diving, most divers base themselves around the Bonaire proper or around dive centers on the southeastern and western coasts, with calm, warm visibility and abundant reef life in the surrounding marine park areas.
