Bonaire

Bonaire is known for straightforward, shore-based diving on the leeward side of the island, with easy access to many marked sites. The surrounding Caribbean Sea waters are typically clear, with year-round warm temperatures and a mix of shallow coral gardens, sandy patches, and steeper reef slopes. Divers often spend time around popular walls and dive areas where you can see reef fish, crustaceans, and corals suited to tropical Caribbean conditions, with occasional larger marine life depending on season and site. Being an island destination, most dive planning centers on local shore entries and short surface swims, while boat dives can add deeper options farther offshore. Bonaire also offers good conditions for both beginner-friendly sites (where depth and currents are manageable) and more advanced profiles at selected locations.
