Msida

Msida is a small harbor town in northern Malta, part of the Grand Harbour area. It is not a primary diving destination itself, but it acts as a gateway for divers visiting Malta. Local dive centers are concentrated around nearby Valletta and Sliema, offering daily boat trips to Malta’s underwater sites, including shallow reefs, walls, and wrecks around the Grand Harbour area and nearby bays. Access from Msida is convenient for shore and pier entries to nearby dive boats, and the surrounding coastal environment is typical Mediterranean—clear water, moderate visibility, and temperate conditions in summer. For freshwater diving or training, options are limited within the immediate area; most diving occurs at saltwater sites around the Maltese archipelago, reachable by short boat transfers.
