Machida

Machida is a city in the Tokyo region with elevated terrain near 100 meters above sea level. It is not a primary diving hub and has no local dive sites. Nearby freshwater access exists at Lake Hinuma, but it is outside the city and not a regular dive destination. For divers, Machida serves as a transport and gateway point to the greater Tokyo area and coastal sites along the Pacific, or field trips further afield in Japan, rather than a diving base itself.
