Gili Air

Gili Air is a small island village off the coast of Lombok in Indonesia. It functions as a mellow gateway for divers visiting the area, with a handful of local centers offering introductory and recreational dives in the surrounding Bali Sea and nearby Lombok reefs. While the island itself is not a deep-diving hotspot, it serves as a convenient base for boat trips to nearby sites and for snorkeling and shore dives along calm, turquoise waters. Expect warm tropical conditions, gentle currents, and abundant marine life around reef flats and seagrass meadows, with more experienced dive options available nearby on larger Lombok and Gili snorkeling/diving routes.
