Vallan’s Wall

Vallon’s Wall is a coastal dive site characterized by a vertical wall that drops from shallow depths along a rocky shoreline. Access is straightforward from nearby coastal towns, with typical conditions including good visibility and calm surface in most conditions. The wall features a mix of hard corals, sponges and an array of reef fish common to temperate to tropical inspired Atlantic-influenced waters, with chances to encounter groupers, snappers, moray eels and colorful wrasses. As a wall dive, drift is possible with current, so planning for a controlled descent and buoyancy is advised. The site is best suited to experienced beginners with supervision or students practicing wall procedures, and to more advanced divers seeking a relaxed shallow wall exploration near shore.
