Valan’s Wall, Carriacou

Valan’s Wall is a wall dive off Carriacou, accessible from the island’s northern coast. The site features a vertical drop with a series of ledges and small overhangs starting around a few meters and descending to deeper walls. Entry is typically by boat from local shores or liveaboard operations, with calm conditions common on many days. The wall hosts a mix of hard corals, sponge colonies, and patches of color along the vertical faces. Common reef fishes, damselfishes, angelfish, grunts, and occasional pelagics may be seen patrolling the drop. Visibility varies with sea conditions, generally offering clear enough conditions for distinct topography and resident wildlife. This site suits intermediate divers comfortable with proximity to a vertical reef edge and planned buoyancy control.
