Plougastel Daoulas
Tombant Des Ducs D’albes
The Tombant des Ducs d’Albes is a small offshore wall dive near Plougastel-Daoulas, with the site generally starting around 6–8 meters and plunging deeper along a gentle drop-off. The wall is typical of the Brittany coast, featuring rocky substrate, boulders, and vertical sections that attract common Western Isles marine life. Expect clear but variable visibility and cool water conditions, with currents depending on tides. Access from nearby coastal towns is straightforward and divers often combine this site with dives along the Roscanvel and Lanvéoc areas, which lie within a few kilometres. The site provides a straightforward drift or wall dive for intermediate-level divers, with a focus on structure, small fish, and macro life rather than large pelagics.
