Tioman Marine Park

Tioman Marine Park is a popular tropical dive area off the east coast of Peninsular Malaysia, known for its clear warm waters, coral reefs, and diverse marine life. The site offers sheltered conditions with gentle to moderate currents and a range of dive types suitable for cruising and reef exploration. Expect macro and small reef life, colourful hard and soft corals, and a variety of tropical fish including angelfish, parrotfish, and snappers. Access is straightforward from local resorts, with many dive centers operating day trips to several reef fronts and sheltered sites within the park. The area is typically best dived from a liveaboard or day boats that run from Tioman town, with visibility commonly in the tens of metres depending on season.
