The Pipe

The Pipe is a shallow, coastal dive site known for its accessible entry and structured rocky relief just off the Florida coast. Located near Lauderdale-by-the-Sea, Pompano Beach, and Oakland Park, it offers easy shore or small-boat access suitable for beginner to intermediate divers. The site features a gentle slope with scattered structure and some swim-throughs, usually in calm conditions with moderate visibility. Marine life typical of Southeast Florida includes a variety of reef fish, rays, and occasional moray eels, with seabed habitats that support macro life as well. It is a practical, local dive option for skill maintenance, buoyancy practice, and short recreational dives.
