’T Koepeltje

’t Koepeltje is a sheltered local dive site off the Dutch coast, accessible within a short boat ride from nearby towns. The site features a shallow, sloping seabed with rocky relief and small patches of sand, creating a straightforward drift-free swim for beginners and more experienced divers alike. Expect typical North Sea temperate conditions with fair to good visibility on calm days and water temperatures that vary seasonally. Marine life is regular for the area, including wrasse, blennies, shrimps, crabs and common shore fishes, with occasional schools near the rocky outcrops. Entry is off a calm harbor or beach zone depending on the tide, and current is usually mild, making this a practical training or recreational site close to Scharendijke, Brouwershaven, and Renesse.
