Yenbuba

Sardine Reef

Sardine Reef is a coastal dive site renowned for its healthy pelagic and reef systems. The site features a gently sloping sandy to rocky profile that drops to moderate depths, with scattered coral blocks and abundant schooling fish, including sardines and reef species. Visibility is typically fair to good, and currents are usually mild, making it accessible to a range of divers. Entry is from a calm shoreline or a sheltered beach, with multiple natural channels and small overhangs that host wrasses, damselfish, parrotfish, and occasional reef sharks in some regions. The site is used by local dive centers for basic to intermediate dives and offers opportunities for macro life along the outer edges. Local conditions can change with tides, so plan dives around steady seas and check first-hand reports from nearby centers.
