Lloret De Mar
S’agulla
S’Agulla is a shallow rocky reef site off the Costa Brava, near Lloret de Mar and Blanes. The dive typically stays within a few dozen metres of depth, with easy access from local beaches and calm conditions suitable for guided calas and beginner to intermediate divers. Expect a sandy bottom nearby, patches of bare rock and small crevices that shelter a typical Mediterranean assemblage: damselfish, wrasses, lizards, gobies and occasional octopus around crevices. Visibility is commonly good in clear months, with gentle currents typical of sheltered coves. Access is straightforward from nearby towns, and the site often serves as a relaxed, training-friendly dive or a shallow drift along the reef edge.
