Rock Garden, Carriacou

Rock Garden is a shallow, coastal reef site off Carriacou known for its uneven rocky formations that create small swim-throughs and gentle tops. Typical conditions include clear tropical water with moderate visibility, a sandy backdrop, and a sloping reef edge. The area hosts a range of Western Atlantic reef life such as groupers, snappers, parrotfish, damselfish, and chances to see moray eels and lobsters among the crevices. Access is straightforward from nearby shore by boat; currents are usually mild, making it suitable for reef-friendly dives and beginner to intermediate divers. This site is commonly explored as part of a day trip from Grand Anse/Carriacou hubs and is near the communities of L’Esterre, Hermitage, and Hillsborough, within a short surface ride.
